Sangati The YogaVahini Sanga Practice Day 1

Master class with Saraswathi Vasudevan on October 5, 12, 19 & 26
10 to 11:30 am IST [online]

Dear friends,

On the day of Vijaya Dasami 2020, two years ago, we started Sangati - a series of practice sessions led by me and other senior teachers to foster continued practice and study that goes beyond formal training and certification. We would now like to revive this thread - Sangati: The YogaVahini Sanga Practice Day - wherein we all come together and practice as a Sanga regularly.

Our intent is to strengthen our own personal practice that will help us deepen our awareness, clarity and conviction on this path. Senior teachers will take turns to lead the sessions for a period of time to help explore deeper dimensions and subtler elements in practice. Each session will entail a 45 mins - 1 hour Yoga practice followed by group sharing/discussion. Each series (4-6 weeks duration) will follow a particular theme offered by the teacher based on what inspires them. We are also happy to offer what the Sanga would like to explore collectively.

We are excited to announce that we will restart Sangati with the theme: Moving together towards Light & Lightness on the day of Vijaya Dasami : 5th October, 2022 10-11.30 am IST and will continue to meet every Wednesday for the next 4 weeks. [5, 12, 19 and 26th October 2022, 10-11.30 am IST - online].

Those of you in Chennai can also attend the practice session in-person. We will also be screening excerpts from a special documentary film shared by R Sriram on that day. We will share the link to the film with the rest of the Sanga as well.

The days and timings of the future Sangati sessions may change to accommodate people in different time zones and the teachers' availability.

Sangati is open to all students and teachers at YogaVahini and is offered free of charge. We request each one of you to make time to practice as a collective! To encourage active participation in the live sessions, recordings will not be made available to participants.

Wishing everyone a Happy Navaratri!

Love and best wishes,
Saraswathi
