Dear Sanga,
June is passing quickly, but the heat has not abated! When the sun is strong outside, the sun (fire) inside is weak. So we are asked to eat light, fasting is OK, so is less activity and more rest. We are even allowed an afternoon nap in summer according to Ayurveda! This alignment that we create with the changing seasons helps to bring balance and harmony within and without.
As we prepare for the next study season, we are inviting another fresh batch of yoga aspirants to walk the path with us, through the 8-week Yoga Sadhana and a 200-hour Yoga Instructor Training Program. You can also do these two programs simultaneously this time! The first step matters, asking yourself, "What is most important for me right now, what am I willing to do for it, am I ready to commit and work in the chosen direction? How would I like to be supported?"
I would also encourage you to renew your commitment to your daily practice, with three different programs: one is a masterclass with me, the second is the comeback of our Sangati sessions – open to everyone, and thirdly, the Refresher Retreats. I hope to see you in one or all of these programs that are meant to help you pick up the threads of your practice (and teaching) again.
We are bringing an Ayurveda series to you in July with Dr G Meera Sudheer and Dr. A Sudheer. They will introduce you to Ayurvedic approaches to musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and neurological conditions, along with preparing for conception, pregnancy, and post-natal care.
Much love,
Saraswathi
